John Nobile's SummerSwing Orchestra is currently accepting book dates.

• Friday, March 12, 2010 - John Nobile's SummerSwing Orchestra will be featured at a gala fundraiser for the Millburn-Short Hills Chamber of Commerce, and sponsored by Investors Savings Bank. This event will feature an evening of big band music, dancing, wine tasting, and a spectacular live auction. The event will take place at the Short Hills Hilton Hotel on March 12, 2010 from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM. • Doolan's Shore Club - On Saturday, April 17th we will be appearing at  a gala Ballroom Dance at Doolan's Shore Club located at 700 State Highway #71, in Spring Lake, NJ. Dancing is from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM. A modest cover charge applies. Please call (732) 449-3666 for reservations.  

• Brook Theatre Concert - John Nobile's SummerSwing Orchestra is happy to announce that we have been selected to perform at the Grand Re-Opening of the Brook Theatre in Bound Brook, NJ. on Saturday, April 24th from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Billed as "Stompin' at the Brook" this event will feature our female vocalist and Jitterbug dancers. Tickets are $15.00 in advance, and $ 25.00 at the door, and can be purchased at www.Ticketweb.com, or by calling (732) 469-7700. The Brook Theatre is located at 10 Hamilton Street in Bound Brook, NJ.  

• Arthur Murray Dance Studio Dance Night - On Saturday, May 8th we will be performing at the Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Whitehouse Station, NJ. Tickets are $25.00 per person which includes a gourmet buffet, and a swing dance workshop. Music begins at 7:00 PM, and continues until 11:00 PM. • Heath Village Concert/Dance - A private concert/dance perfomance on Wednesday, May 12th at the Heath Village, in Hackettstown, NJ.  

• Sommerville Summer Concert Series - We will be presenting a concert on Friday, June 18th on the steps of the Somerset County Court House in Sommerville, NJ. This free concert is sponsored by the Sommerville Business Association, and will begin at 7:00 PM, and end at 8:00 PM. Do not forget to bring your lawn chairs.  

• John Basilone Memorial Festival - Once again we are honored to have been selected to play at the John Basilone Memorial Festival in Raritan, NJ, sharing the musical responsibilities with the "President's Own 1st Marine Band." Congressional Medal of Honor awardee, John Basilone was the most decorated Marine of WWII. This performance is scheduled for Friday, September 24th from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Show Mobile Band Shell next to the John Basilone statue on Olde York Road.
